Men’s wellbeing at the Lion’s Den.

We’re developing a welcoming woodland space where men can take a breather, enjoy good food around the fire, and spend time in good company. Whether you want to talk, have a laugh, or simply unwind under the open sky, there’s no pressure to share anything. Come as you are.

A place to offload and be yourself.

Work, relationships, family life or loneliness can weigh on any of us. We’re creating a place where you can take time for yourself and feel welcome without having to explain what’s brought you here. Join in with an activity, put the world to rights over food, or just enjoy the company. You don’t need any bushcraft experience, and you can take things at your own pace.

Bushcraft, night skies and good company.

Our plans bring together hands-on bushcraft, outdoor cooking and time to enjoy the woodland. Try green woodwork, learn how to build a campfire, join in a friendly game or simply sit back. As evening falls, gather around the fire, share good food and watch the stars appear. We also hope to offer occasional overnight camping, giving you more time to switch off and enjoy being outdoors.

Practical wellbeing for everyday life.

Our approach is solution-focused and non-judgemental. We offer space to be heard, recognise your strengths and explore small, practical steps towards what you want to change. Through shared activities and relaxed conversation, our aim is to help you notice what’s already working and build on it, at your own pace and without pressure to share.

Interested in joining us as the project develops? Send us a message through our contact page to ask questions, find out more or register your interest. There’s no pressure to commit.
